NORTHWEST OHIO'S

ANIMAL NUTRITION LEADER

In March 1967, Jake Hess and B Neuenschwander purchased the George Brothers Feed Mill in Wauseon OH and formed J & B Feed Company.  The actual mill, which we use to this day,  was built in the 1860's as a flour mill.

Prior to forming J & B Feed, Jake owned a chick hatchery and sold Purina Feeds.  In fact, Jake started selling Purina Feeds in 1939.  So J & B and it's predecessors have been selling Purina chicken, cattle, horse and other livestock feed for 76 years.

Obliviously many changes have occurred over the years, as the sign on my office wall says - CHANGE IS THE PRICE OF SURVIVAL.  We added our Swanton store in the 1980's to serve the eastern Fulton County and western Lucas County area.  This store has moved a couple of times and it is now in it's permanent home (hopefully) at 134 E. Airport Highway in Swanton.  In 1999 we opened our downtown Napoleon store to start serving Henry County.

Over the years we have added many lines of pet foods, started making our own line of wild bird feeds and have added Buckeye and Tribute Horse feeds.

We invite you to stop in any of our stores and meet one of our stores and meet one of our friendly employees who would be very happy to help you.
